Is it safe??

Does anyone know if it is safe to take Diflucan while trying to conceive.  I starting take the medication on 1-24-08 and im due to ovulate on 1-27-08. So i didnt know if i should wait.

I doubt there's any harm in TTC but generally with a vag. yeast infection your acid-base balance in the vagina is not where it should be at in order to conceive....I know you're probably anxious to start trying, but really, I wouldn't until it clears up....

Yes its for a vaginal yeast infection. The Dr. gave me two doses.  I took one yesterday and i take the other in seven days.

I agree with the previous post.if you have more than one dose,you need to complete the course first,before having sex,as it can be passed back and forwards...

Are you it for a vaginal yeast infection?  Did you only take the one pill?  It should be out of your system within a week.  If it's for a vaginal yeast infection (I ask this b/c they prescribe it for oral yeast infections as well), I would suggest that you don't have sex until everything clears up....only b/c your significant other can contract it and give it back to you, etc etc
