I agree, if they get to 5 mins apart or less and last a minute give or take a lil and they keep on for 1-2 hours and are stronger then I would go, I had my first son at 36+0 and my contractions didn't even bother me to begin with and they were 8 mins to start with, then by the time I got to the hospital, a couple hours later they were like 4 mins apart and I was in labor, with this baby, I just had him 2 weeks ago, I was 36+5 when I went into early labor, then had him the next morning, my contractions were every 3 mins when I first went to the hospital, and I was 3cm then I was told to walk and walk and I did for about 4 hours, I went back because the contractions were every 2 mins and lasting a minute and a half, I was dilated to 4 then, the doc admitted me over night and they stayed every 2 minutes but kept getting stronger and stronger and I was dilating more and more, I couldn't sleep at all, it was terrible, the pqin mes they have me wore off in about 30 mins, so then finally I was admitted for labor and given the epidural, and a hour andhalf later I had my lil boy :) good luck to you, every woman and pregnancy is different, if anything changes or gets worse atleast call your doctoror just go on to l&d, because you never know :)
It sounds like your body is just preparing for labor...you can lose your plug two months to two hours before you go into labor....if your having 4-6 an hour or there are coming minutes apart getting more intense you need to head to L&D
So I assume you began to dilate soon after you lost it?
I lost it last week. I'm 1cm dialted.
When did you lose your plug???
I'm 30+1 and I lost my plug around 5 am yesterday... and my cervix are still closed but my friend said she lost her plug at 30 weeks as well and went into labor 6 weeks later.
Could be braxton hicks! Your body is just getting ready for labor :)
