Is there anyone else who found out the gender really early?

I found out the gender when I was only 15 weeks and 1 day. It's a boy!

Im sorry, i didnt mean for you to feel attacked ...personally i felt like you were attacking the other posters by staying the fact that the genitals are not formed before 17 weeks SO strongly. like it was all matter of fact that everyone else was wrong but you. Your first post i thought was totally fine...the second one on the other hand just looked like you were trying to argue. I wasnt trying to be mean...by saying "you went all crazy" does not mean i think ur actually a crazy person lol its just how i talk..i just meant because you were all "the genitals are NOT formed at 15 weeks" it was just like whoa...who are u to be telling us this information...you know? im sorry if i hurt your feelings because thats never what i intended on doing. you can ask a number of ladies on this site if thats what i intend to do on a regular basis...because i do not. Honestly, i started AF two yesterday and im a little hormonal so i could be replying harsher than normal BUT, i am getting really tired of all the misinformation around here. I just want people to look something up and be totally sure of it (if your gonna act like u are totally sure of it) or simply state the fact that "i saw this every once in a while when i was working in an OB office but im not entirely sure of the outcome"

again, im sorry if u felt attacked but its a little silly to be saying that ur not sure if u can feel comfortable posting here anymore just because I alone hurt your feelings (which again i did not mean to do). you stated ur opinion and i stated mine.....if you would rather i could just not post on anything related to you anymore if i make u that uncomfortable but i wouldnt hold it against the whole site.

I found out at 13 1/2 weeks I was having a boy. At my u/s when I was 19 weeks, proved it was a boy. I had a boy whos now 9 weeks old.

A good sonographer can distinguish gender early especially in a boy. However, they just don't like confirming until at least 17 weeks.

Here's a web site that shows you a fetus' genitalia. The pictures are real life.

actually genitals start forming at 12 weeks, though not fully formed they are visible.  There actually are ultrasounds that can tell with certainty at 16 weeks.

At 15 weeks I saw what my daughter looked like, and there was a clear picture of three lines, very different from my son's pictures with a penis.

From Dr.Spock's website (google to find)
"By week 12 to 14, your baby's external genitalia are recognizably male or female" It does go on to say that they are not fully formed, but as early as 15/16 weeks they can be seen as either male or female.

Genitals are NOT formed at 15 weeks you can tell at 17 weeks.... Before than the parts are called a nub and they may point in different directions for different sexes.... It is likely to be right because of the fact it is 50/50

At 15 weeks I was told girl, now at 28 weeks she's still a girl as far as I know, had a pretty clear view at 23 weeks, and when I get another u/s towards the end I'll have them check again if they can. BUT I've already bought girl clothes...with my son there was no mistaking it, and this one is definitely a girl.

I was told at 15wks I was having a boy (it was pretty clear) and my little 2-month-old son is lying next to me as I type this...so it was accurate for me...but I've heard of mistakes before 18wks especially so you may want to wait to buy gender-specific stuff until your next ultrasound. but congrats!!! my little boy is such a darling...I thought I wanted another girl (I have a daughter) but I love having my little boy too~

Like Majikat said it's all 50/50. You can get a more accurate result after 19 weeks.
