What does this mean?

Hi, my name is Lisa and I am 19 years old. I had unprotected sex on May 8th, which was also supposed to be the first day of my period but it never came. We had unprotected intercourse for only about 1-2 minutes then he put a condom on. I took a HPT either on the 10th or 11th of May and it was negative. It is now May 16th which makes me a week and 1 day late. About 2 or 3 days ago I started noticing a brown discharge on my liner, today it is a bit more than what it was when it started. I feel like I'm going to get my period but it never comes. Any information would be really helpful. Thanks :)

Thanks for the reply Ashbash. You're both right in this situation. I just got my period a few minutes ago, thanks to both of you for the advice :)

I agree. It might just be changing. Sometimes if you have sex around when your period will come, it can altar it a bit. Good luck.

New bit of information to add, just a few minutes ago I got another discharge except this time it was brown with a little bit of blood and it was also a lot more than the past few days. Thanks for the reply curiousminds, I hope it comes too and I think you're right about it changing because my period used to come at the end of the month for about a year or two then I lost my virginity and it changed to the beginning. Now I really don't know, its in the middle so I'm very confused.

Your period cycle is probably just changing.. It will come soon hopefully!
