Cervidil?

Anybody have any experience with it? I'd like to know how affective it is. They put it in a couple hours ago, so I have to have it in for 10 more hours, then they will take it out for an hour and start the pitocin. I was only half a centimeter dilated and 50% effaced, so I'm hoping it is doing something down there....

Lol I meant  before you felt anything. They should be able to give you pain meds through an iv if you desperately need it. But it works best the first time, after that it looses strength so make sure you seriously need it lol good luck I hope everything goes smoothly!

It must take a few hours to get going. Now it hurts in my back and feels really crampy. I'm supposed to sleep through this? Yeah right.

I had a good experience with it lol I mean as good as being induced can be I guess. It took a few hours to really get going but man did the contractions hurt. I had to get dilauded for the pain until my water broke (on it's own) then they gave me pit and waitied til I was 3cm to give me the epi it was smooth sailing after that. Try to get some sleep before the contractions get too bad
