Thanks again, It is not an STD or STI. It is not possible for it to be sexually transmitted. It must be pregnancy related as it only started a few weeks in to my pregnancy. Will go and check it with the doctor.
That sounds like an std. Ask your ob/gyn if you can be tested for all the sexually transmitted diseases. Tell him about the green discharge. That is not a symptom of yeast or uti. Burning is also an indicator of a std. I'm not sure what your other medical situation is it may or may not be causing this particular issue. But you need to def tell your doc, that can cause your baby serious health problems if left unchecked. Good luck
Yes, I would definitely talk to your doctor or OBG about it, since green discharge is not normal and clearly means an infection. You just want to be on the safe side, since chlamydiae or Gonorrhea can cause infertility or miscarriages. Are you having any pelvic pain or pressure or pain having intercourse(that you dont think is associated with the pregnancy)? Painful intercourse can mean a Yeast infection. But I hope you find out and everything goes all right!
Thanks for your reply, I guess I should get it checked out but as I have had other medical issues and other tests done recently and it didn't come up, I was just thinking maybe it's nothing to worry about. I don't have an STI. The other medical issue I have is repeated Staph infections and I also had to have a urine test a few weeks back to check for Strep B. I have had one or two UTI's in the past (prior to this pregnancy) but they were never accompanied by this gross discharge.
Well It may have to do with the "other medical issue" that you are having. If its a sti that would make sense, and you definitely want to have more testing done in case it endangers your health of you or your unborn baby. Have you been checked for a UTI or a Yeast infection. Either way with green discharge during pregnancy you definitely need to get all the tests done you can!! Good luck hope you find out what it is!
