Is this labor?

This is my third pregnancy. First: 19 3/4 inches, 7#s5oz, 39w4d. Second: 19 3/4 inches, 6#s5oz, 38w0d. I'm due November 28, and currently 36 weeks. About two days ago I lost my m plug. The day before that I swelled up like a balloon. The day after losing it, I've started getting contractions. At least I think I have. Here's my question, am I having contractions or is it just strong bm cramps? Cuz I feel lower back pain and pressure that radiates to the front and moves up and tightens for 30-60 seconds. I have regular BMS but now they are more frequent. And the contractions vary from 10-20 minutes apart. They worsen when I walk, sit, stand, talk, lay down, and bend over. I drink five to eight 20ounces of water and tried eating a banana since last night. They started becoming regular yesterday. I'm still losing bits of the m plug. Could it be labor? With my first I was induced and felt nothing. With my second I had what felt like bm cramps every five minutes.

Glad you went too get checked, just keep an eye on contractions especially if they think you won't go over 38 weeks.

Update: went to L&D I was indeed havinging contractions at every 3-8 minutes, but they were small. No amnio leak, and they sent me home after checking my cervix to ensure it wasn't regularly dilating. They said I may deliver as early as 38 weeks. And said, Theres no way I would be able to hold this baby in for too long cuz he's measuring bigger for my body frame.

Well my whole labour was more or less 39 hours but I know someone that was 52 hours Altogether! Aslong as they are starting to get more frequent it shouldn't be much longer for you xx

It certainly sounds like contractions as they start in the back and work to the front they also don't ease up when walking or changing position, it sounds too me as if your in slow labour as it sounds exactly like I was xx
