It hurts! Help??!

Well ill be 38 weeks Monday (I think). My last appointment I had a growth ultrasound, baby is measuring really big, so my ob said I could be a week further than we have been going by.. and she said she hopes I go in labor within another 2 weeks. Anywho, I heard sex is one of the best ways to go into labor, or at least help, so me and the hubby went at it earlier today. It was great, both had the big "O" if ya know what I mean. But as soon as I hopped off of him and layed in bed my lower back just started hurting soooo bad! Its mostly on the left side and towards my spine but I also feel it in my hip as well and it like radiates all across my back if that makes sense? And it just won't let up! Its been hoursss ago and I've tried soaking in the tub which helped while I was in it but now just hurts as much as before, hubby gave me a back rub and it didn't help. I'm not contracting that I know of... and its a constant pain. I've heard some women go into labor this way and not know they're in labor the whole first stage of labor... and I'm kinda worried about it as I know it could be my sciatic nerve (maybe baby moved and got comfy on a nerve?) But

she's been moving around just fine.. it hurts sooo bad but no matter how I lay/sit/stand it doesn't let up so ima try some tylenol and try a nap to see if it goes away. Don't really wanna be a hyperchondriac and go to the hospital and get sent home again. I would call my ob but they take foreverrrr to call back id rather just wait it out and see what happens. Has anyone ever had this pain suddenly this close to the end and it not be anything but just normal or was it back labor??? Help! Please!

Im 38 w also & ive had that pain for weeks. I think its sciatica, my Dr isn't concerned at all. Then again I'm one of those back pain complainers, the only difference is this pain is intense & doesn't let up. Feel better soon!
