First of all you should avoid hot baths - especially in the first trimester, exposure to temps that are too high can cause birth defects..so stick to warm baths!!!
Secondly...you got checked for a yeast infection, right? I think I'm remembering you correctly?
For my first and this pregnancy I have gotten extremely itchy in the first trimester! For some it's a yeast infection and others it's simply just the change in hormones.
Even though you aren't using a new soap...try not to get it down there too much. You can compress with a cool cloth and try to keep it aired out as much as you can.
It's sooo aggravating...mine wasn't all symptoms of a yeast infection but I still treated it with the 6 day cream. Some docs and midwives are very different on the treatment so I would talk to your doc before doing one.
Im going into my 3rd, but nope dr said he doesnt see a yest.
Not sure where your from but in aus you can get what they call Vagi wash from the chemist is has got any soap in it, its ph balanced something like that could help, also taking showers not baths, cleaning with fresh water the rest of your body hasnt been flotting in my help.
At this store called wal-mart in the usa they have vagi wash. I sure will get it. I dont understand your last paragraph.
i use one called femme fresh. everything else irritates. if you have that there give it a go :)
I had a yeast infection n it hurt so bad, I never had one until I got pregnant, my doc gave me a list of yeast med upfront so my hubby we t to the store n I was feeling better in no time, the next day it was like gone!!
Bubble bath is not good u can get infection so try to avoid if..
If u shave down there that could cause it because your skin changes so much during pregnancy and becomes more sensitive. My Dr recommended that I just trim during pregnancy to avoid skin irritation and also little nicks r great breeding grounds for bacteria and infection.
