I have gestational diabetes :(

My last doctor visit I measured 3 weeks ahead... Im really nervous about being induced

I have it as well. I'm still having a hard time accepting it because, like you said, I feel like I did this to my baby. But in the grand scheme of things... It could be a whole lot worse. For me the worst part is the diet. I don't mind testing 4x a day, but I hate being so limited in what I eat. I've never dieted in my life so it's a big adjustment. Right now my baby its measuring 2 weeks ahead. If you're like me they'll have you do a few more ultrasounds to check on growth.

Just because you have gestational diabetes doesn't mean you will have a big baby. Don't worry to much! xx

I was induced 2 weeks early, he only weighed 6pounds 10ounces! He was perfect, no complications whatsoever :)

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I had it and my doctor never even told me. My son was perfectly healthy the whole pregnancy. The only thing was he turned out to be a large baby. but he is more than perfect other wise! (: so just be sure to watch what you eat. It'll all be okay. (:
