I've lost weight

I'm 13 weeks. I know it's normal to lose some weight at the beginning. But even with the bloat which makes me look ENORMOUS by the way, I still am 6 pounds less than my pre preggo weight. I was 112 and after I got pregnant I dropped to 106 and I've been stuck there ever since. I eat so much every day. I take my vitamins. I drink lots of water. I have only thrown up twice this whole pregnancy, and I STILL can't gain ANY weight.

My body is so used to staying at a certain weight, that no matter what I do, it always finds its say back. I mean, that's great AFTER birth and all. But I feel like I'm failing when I'm can't gain weight for my baby :(

Rant over.

You're usually recommend to gain weight towards the end of ur second semester and through out the third. Some women don't even gain weight and others could be losing all through out their pregnancy. As long as ur doctor isn't concern then u should be fine

I'm almost 13 weeks, and I too am stuck at the same weight. Well, I didn't lose weight but i certainly haven't been gaining either. I'm 140 and have been since before I got pregnant. The second trimester is where you start to gain weight the most cuz a lot of women are quite affected by morning sickness in the 1st trimester, and can sometimes lose weight due to that. It's normal. My appetite comes and goes still. All you can do is take your vitamins, eat healthy, (they also say it's normal to eat whatever u feel like eating, when u feel like eating if nausea is a big issue, doing your best to aim for healthy stuff -- this last week my staple meals have been 711 toquitos and reeces pieces bars ha) and listen to your doctor. I have pregnancy books (which are very helpful to invest in) and one read that a healthy weight u can expect to gain is only around 12 pounds in the 2nd trimester. Don't stress and do Ur best you're still pretty early on you have lots of time to gain all the weight you need :P you're not failing your baby by not gaining weight just yet. Your doc will guide you
