Jaundice rant

Baby boy has been tested 3* for jaundice tested high the first time && we were sent home I was told to go back sat , went in sat to do lab work and the techs used his blood for a wrong test ( they were to busy laughing and gossiping ) I was pissed when I received the phone call saying a mistake was made. Went in today to redo the test and got a call 2hrs later saying his levels were high now I have to wait until tomorrow to go see a pediatrician. I don't like what's going on bc he shud have never been sent home the 1st time now I'm up monitoring his eyes and skin color I'm just so scared like why they couldn't take care of this before discharging the both of us

Oh wow. My first stayed in the hospital a week before being sent home on a light. I was discharged yesterday but my daughter wasn't because of her jaundice level. But I'm here in the hospital with her. I hate it. This s u c k and I hope they get better soon

That's not good, I'd make a complaint about how its handled.
The best things for jaundice is filtered sunlight so give bub some nudey time in the sunlight and also breast milk if your breastfeeding is good for jaundice.
All the best.
