Yes gestational diabetes is terrible, & if not handled properly, you could still have it after the pregnancy. It puts you & the baby up for many risks that could lead to problems possibly for life. It also causes the baby to be pretty big which would result in you having a c-section. But it's something your ob monitors every month during your checkup so if they haven't brought it up, you should be fine.
I eat sweat every day sometimes thats all i eat because thats all i have on hand...im going to stop now i dont want gestational diabetes
It would make you high risk but I eat sweets. I don't have it and I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow. As long as sweets is not all you eat, then I'm sure you'll be fine.
I've been eating it everyday because if I don't I feel, like I have no energy and it semi helps a little at work to I was never a sweets fanatic like this even as a kid :( I could make even toblerones last a few months but this is ridiculous with these cravings
Indulge in your little cravings once in awhile :)
It won't hurt if its not too much.
sorry I didn't know how to spell it
Ok so is that a bad thing if I get the gestitanional diabetes? Like what does that do?
Not so much of an effect on the baby directly, but you could develop gestational diabetes(which then affects the baby. But you should have a urine test every time your at an appointment where they check for that, so if they don't mention it your fine. Snack away! ☺
