Johnson's baby products?
I'm hearing things about certain ingredients in Johnson's baby products has cancer causing chemicals, does anyone know if it's ALL of their products, or if it's recalled? Just what's going on with it, Johnson's is all I use and I need to switch if there's something going on!
Traces of fermaldahyde (not sure of the spelling) the stuff used to preserve organs for science etc, has apparently been found in there products. I bought no name brand baby soap bars which double as shampoo. I also asked for aveeno brand baby products for my shower. A bit pricey but so worth it :)
Aveeno is a great product. I used it for my son and myself even now. I did start off with j&j but my sons skin is sensitive and he got horrible dry skin from it. I will be using aveeno for this baby not j&j.
Ohhhh I love aveeno. Have used it myself for a few years and it has never treated me badly, except maybe my wallet lol
Imbalming fluid in baby products?! This world amazes me more and more every day. Smh
aveeno is owned by johnson and johnson and I was told by my daughters ped not to use that as well.
so i definitely should switch then.. both of my kids use johnson and johnson, :( I have like 5-6 bottles of shampoo and lotions.
Aw man I just bought a bunch of baby products simply because I had none! What should I use now?? Ftm any suggestions??
Cali momma I'm with you! I just bought a bunch of j&j baby products cause I have always loved them! And I thought it was a good brand! My cousins have always used them and now I'm concerned!!
I just googled this because I was worried too since I literally just bought some today too! I guess it's in most products from other companies too but j&j has made a promise to completely stop using that and a few other ingredients by 2015. I couldn't find one newer than 2012 though so I'm not sure how close they are to stopping the use but there is hope!
Lol I don't even know other brands? Besides Aveeno but I guess its a j&j product so now I'm really stuck! Lol but I know a lot of people using it and having no issues and sure they don't even know. I totally need help now hahah
I just found this online... "J&J already announced that it would remove questionable chemicals from its baby products by 2013, but the company is now extending that commitment to its adult product lines, which include popular brands like Neutrogena, Aveeno and Clean & Clear."
Oh my.goodness.... I juss put some j&j bedtime lotion on my baby!!! =-O I hope the harmful chemicals are out from what maymommy posted but I did buy that bottle few months before he was born, ahhh!

It says they took formaldehyde out of them back in august. Scary to think what else could be in them
Burts bees is probably all good!! But some of us are poor lol. I got a bunch of j&j at my baby shower, so I suppose ill.just take it back and invest in Burts bees baby bee products.
haha no kidding!!! I don't want to pay $20 dollars for a small bottle and have it puked on within minutes hahah... ohhh well, guess I'm switching then!

I use baby magic and have for both my kids and will with this baby also i havnt used j&j bit thats good to know
Wow this is concerning. I have always used Aveeno bath and lotion on my baby, her ped told me to since she has excema. I wouldn't know which brands to switch to as her skin is very sensitive to most other products I've tried. I've used it on her for all 9 months of her life, id hate to hear something like this!
