cat being extra cuddly?

So my cat isnt really one that just cuddles with me often. But this morning and now she's cuddling up to me and just wanting to be petted. Any idea why she's being extremely cuddly? And she is only cuddling near my belly. Or if I'm laying on my back shell lay halfway on my belly.

My dog does the same. He's super protective of my belly too. If my bf rubs my belly he tries to get in between his hand and my belly. And he's always sniffing and nudging with his nose and falls right to sleep when he snuggles up to it :)

That's exactly how my cat was.  She NEVER would lay down next to me. When I was around 32 weeks pregnant,  she was attached to me. She always cuddled with my belly. So cute. Now that baby is here, she always lays next to her. It's adorable.

Lol, I'm 30+4 weeks pregnant and she hasn't really been cuddly since I've been preggers. Like I said she just started it this morning, the only other time she has been cuddly was when she was pregnant with her kittens and that was only a couple weeks before she had them but this is the first time since she's had them that she has wanted to just cuddle beside me. Could it be because I was in the hospital for almost 3 weeks and she missed me?

My cat did the same, always cuddled my belly.. it was one of the main reasons I took a test! sure enough it was positive!  Now 5 weeks till my due date! :)

Animals have an extra sense for pregnant women. They always know somehow. My older dog knew before I did, and I couldn't figure out why she was putting her paws on my stomach, since she never does that. Now I know why lol
