Just BH or should I be concerned?

I'm 34+5, and been getting BH for weeks now. About 2 hours ago, I started getting "holy crap" pains. BH's are in my upper belly, and painless for me. These start in my upper belly, radiate down to my lady parts and wrap around my back. I cannot walk through them, and they literally take my breath away. These pains are about every 10 mins, lasting 30 seconds. I've tried changing positions, laying down with a heating pad, taking a warm shower, walking. Nothing has eased them or spread them out. Called doc, he said to rest for the next couple hours and come in if they don't stop. Question is, should I be freaking like I currently am?

Well, I ate waiting for my baby sitter to get here, and now nothing. They just quit. But my sitter is staying the night in case they start up again. Glad baby girl decided to stay put for now.

yes I would call the hospital as if they are contractions which I think they are if you wat a couple of hours you will probab ly have started dialting and they wont be able to stop it, its much better if they can stop the contractions, just make sure your well hydrated as being dehydrated can cause contractions but how you have described them, they sound like the real deal, explain how they are to the nurse, exactly how you have here, make sure you say that movement or a warm bath doesnt stop them and you have to stop what your doing as well

nope that sounds like labour contractions to me I would ring your hospital as they will probably want you to come in and they will either try and stop them or give you a couple of steriod injections to help mature babies lungs, dont wait until its too late, ring or go in asap
