Please if ur nauseated or vomiting Do Not I repeat DO NOT take zofran at all I took it twice now my baby girl has possibly suffer from a heart defect due to that medication  I only took it twice and at my daughters 2 month check up they heard a heart mumur now they need to do an electrocardiogram to see if surgery is need :(

Like I said I was just giving a heads up its up to u if u wanna take advice my family has no history of heart defects whatsoever and this was my 3rd pregnancy and only time I took that medication.....I didn't say I was accusing no one but if there are other cases then most likely zofran is to blame I just don't want others to go through what I'm going through ....do the research just like I did and my case isn't the only one there has been others throughout the years til now they are starting to link it

If you only took it twice I doubt it was caused by the medicine!

Praying for you and your baby!
I took Zofran during my whole first trimester and was a nervous wreck when the commercials started coming out, but the ultrasound tech checked my baby last week and said everything looked perfect and as the way it should and that if anything was wrong, we would have saw it at the 5 month one before this one. Iam so sorry for your daughter though. Will be praying for you both!

I'm sorry for what your going through... it must suck to put a post thinking you may help someone child and get someone to say your "blaming" someone. I hope your baby is ok and the both of yall will be in my prayers. You never know with pills That was never really study on. it's not that out of no were this pill did harm, they just might be finding the link after 20 years.

I've taken it my whole pregnancy. Still do. It possible could've happened even if you didn't take zofran.

My sisters daughter actually was born with a heart murmur and she didn't use zofran.. heart murmurs can occur on anybody but Who knows it is all over TVs.

Just because a bunch of lawyers want to collect enormous fees from class action lawsuits by taking advantage of the public's fear of pharmaceutical companies doesn't mean there's scientific fact behind it. Just because there's a huge push in advertising dollars doesn't mean that this drug (which has been on the market for well over 20 years) has suddenly started causing major issues and massive risks. Correlation does not equal causation. I'm sorry you're in a frightening situation - but that doesn't always mean there's someone to blame for it.

Baby's are sometimes born with a heart murmur. Its a common thing. I had it. But this is actually something that can cause heart defects cleft lip and cleft pallet. Its not on recall but can be the cause of these things. Its all over the place right now.

And the doctor told you it was forsure due to the zofran you only took twice? Or you think it was due to the zofran?
