My 21st birthday will be in march and my twins are due December 4th but of course there's a chance they'll come early. But anyway, I'm not planning on heavily drinking like others do when they turn 21 I just want to go to Texas roadhouse and have 1 or 2 strawberry daqauries but I'm going to be breastfeeding and was just wondering how long does it usually take alcohol to get out of your system from 2 drinks that don't have much in them? Of course I'm going to be pumping as well since I have twins so I'll have plenty pumped before then but I'm just curious. And no I'm not gonna drink to get drunk since I'll have my little girls I just want to have like i said 1 or 2 daqauries to celebrate but nothing more.

They have strips at target you can buy to test if any is in your milk.

Why don't u just store some in the freezer if your that nervous...that way you will have extra till u feel Like its out your system...

I've heard from doctors that if you do not feel physically affected, that it is okay to breast feed. I forgot exactly how they explained it, but something to do with how it takes a lot more to get into your breast milk than your blood stream. I'd just ask your doc. But yes there's the strips too!

I always was told to pump and dump for 6 hours. But I could be wrong. But I'd buy the test strips just in case.

Ik some people say not to drink at all if breastfeeding. But like I mentioned I'm not gonna get wasted on alcohol I just want a little something to celebrate. And I'm not even touching anything hard lol. And where are the strips at like what section?

Pump and dump for a day. But go to Walmart and get the alcohol test strip so u can feel v more comfortable

My sister in law took a shot of liquor and waited like two hours before feeding again I believe she pumped an hour after taking the shot and dumped it just to be safe
