preeclampsia?

I've been feeling very 'off' the past few days. Very irritable. Horrible headaches. Less urination. And today I passed out two times. Has anyone had any of these things happen? I called my doctors exchange # and the doc I talked to didnt sound concerned at all, just said "drink plenty of fluids" but someone told me about preeclampsia and maybe im just over thinking it,but im scared I maybe developing it after I read about It

I'm a nurse and yes preclampsia is a very dangerous diagnoses if not diagnosed and treated and watched carefully and yes it can kill you !! What do you think it is ? And its diagnosed by high blood pressure your heart can stop but its more rare and I really doubt that you have it unless you are overweight then its more common

Kimmikinn is correct

Preeclampsia is defined as high blood pressure and excess protein in the urine after 20 weeks of pregnancy in a woman who previously had normal blood pressure. Even a slight increase in blood pressure may be a sign of preeclampsia. Left untreated, preeclampsia can lead to serious — even fatal — complications for both you and your baby.

I don't know anything about preclampsia besides what I've seen on Maternity ward. And it has to do with high blood pressure.. And blurred vision you can have seizures and some other things. On the show they say the only cure for preclampsia is child birth

If you don't believe me fine. But I wouldn't like about someone dying. Her doctor never checked her urine and didn't pay attention to the signs of Preeclampsia

Preeclampsia is very serious.  I had a girl I went to school with. Her and her baby both passed away because of it.

You will not develop pre-eclampsia after pregnancy...  Is pregnancy induced hypertension. It usually happens in your third trimester and it is diagnosed when your blood pressure is 140/90. So maybe if you go into  store that has a blood pressure reading machine, try it and see what it says.

Yeah your dehyrdrated... drink ALOT more water double maybe even triple what your drinking now...

Now I could be wrong but I think you can only get preeclampsia after pregnancy... or like towards the very end...

I've had the same symptoms as you n I went to the hospital n all it was like extreme dehydration..
