Emergency contraceptive and birth control

I missed the last two pills in the last active cycle of my birth control pack.  I had my normal mensutral cycle and continued my form of birth control, Sunday start.  I had unprotected sex the following Tuesday.  I began thinking about those missed pills, did some research and decided to take Plan-B.  I continued with my routine of birth control.  Am I protected from pregnancy?

Also if it was the tues straight after the period then should have been too close to fall but if the Tuesday after I would assume and mean assume that your pill would be back working by the time you were due to ovulate again...

If you missed the two pills, then had a period, you should have carried on taking the pill like normal ie 7 days after last pill thus two days earlier than your normal day so the gap remained 7 days and not 9... Thus just acting like you lost them as the lack if pills at the end of the period would probably have just caused you to come on two days early... Hope this makes sense.. If so then yes you should be covered.. If you started on the normal day then I'm not so sure but should be ok but you need to be extra carefull this month just incase.. Overall it should be ok but be carefull just incase...
