im very overweight and i barely get my period. do i not have it bc im overweight? can i get pregnant one day? will i have to lose alot of weight if i want my period back? i got it like 5 times in my life and i rly want children. its my biggest dream in life. i am like 200 ibs. plz no nast comments, im not exactly proud of that

I'm ttc, overweight n have pcos but am on pills to decrease my insulin resistance to make my period more regular. I went through what u r, I once went for over a year with no period but now on these pills I get it regularly n am hoping to fall pregnant soon :) there is hope for u :)

I was in the same boat, I was very overweight at 330lbs and had PCOS symptoms and all, had no period whatsoever for a year and a half. I didn't care to be put on meds for it, due to hearing some of its side effects. But once I started a healthy diet and within losing my first 30 lbs my period came right back and was normal ever since, now im pregnant. It might be different for everyone but dont let it worry you.

Sounds like you have PCOS...poly cystic ovarian syndrome...research it...i have severe PCOS with insulin resistance...you def can have kids but you have to get your horomones and body on track first...its not easy and there are meds to help...talk to your drs about it :)
