When do doctors usually decide for mommy's to stop working?

I'm 31 weeks and really just ready to have my time off. I have a long ways to yet though.  Just curious when doctors will usually start telling you that it is time to stop working?

My doctor says 'work until you are very uncomfortable, than give two weeks notice, by the time the two weeks is up you will be super uncomfortable and ready to stop working' I worked until 38 weeks last pregnancy, and spent those two weeks making sure we had everything and sorting everything out. I'm going to try and do the same thing this go round but I am starting to have more issues so might not make it that long.

Drs don't tell u to stop working unless Ur high put on bed rest. W my last pregnancy I wanted to work as long as possible bcuz I wanted all of my maternity leave actually w my baby. So last pregnancy I ended up working to the very end. I was high risk so I was monitored by 2 diff drs. I went in for an ultra sound at 8am, got a call at 9am to head to the hospital, I left work at 3pm ended up at the hospital that night at 5pm to have my baby via a csection.

It depends on how your pregnancy goes along some ppl work up until a week or two before their due date. Doctors don't really tell you when unless your a high risk pregnancy
