Wow.. I must be doing to much for my daughters. I am having a cook out at a park with a bunch of family. We are just going to have cake, and a few things to BBQ. I figured kids can play, adults can eat, and play corn hole
Meant to also say there was at least 5 other kids that were 1.
For my daughter's 1st party we had it at Chick fila. They have a place to place and the cow comes out for 30 mins. The kids get a kids meal, ice cream and a balloon for $6.95 or something like that. We probably spent $50 or so on the party. I then ordered cake from Publix and got the 1 yr old cake free. My daughter just put her face and hands all in it.
My SIL rented a bounce house (we usually do for big parties) and even though they are little, they can still enjoy it for a little bit - plus the older kids will stay occupied. Other than that I'm not too sure because that's the only 1st birthday I've been to and there weren't many other 1 year olds so no other activities were done. I do know that one of my friend had face painting at her daughters 1st birthday and also a clown that did tricks and blew up balloons - but she didn't have him dress up as a clown because she was afraid he would scare the little kids.
First bdays they are kinda outta of it. They usually give you a cake when you order it that is just for them so they can stick their faces in it!!! It is the cutest thing. Invite all of the parents and just let the babies play together and it doesn't have to be a long affair. Good luck!
