Lochia

This question is mainly for the women who are already mums and have experience.
Im coming up to my 5th week after having my gorgeous boy and im unsure if my bleeding has stopped... Im not talking about is this lochia or my period, cause im sick of surfing the internet trying to find an answer to my question and coming across that. The past few days my bleedings been yellow/clear. Ive read that this is a sign that bleeding is coming to an end. But today its been clear everytime ive been to the bathroom and i have the tiniest palest coloured dot on my pad. Would you guys say ive finished bleeding or not? I would just wait and see but im really wanting to be intimate with my partner tonight. Weve been so patient and im pretty fed up of waiting now!

With my first I bleed off and on also more on then off for about 2 months the drs told me no intercourse for about 8 weeks

Thanks guys. My midwives said i was fine after bleeding was done if i felt emotionally ready. So i think im ready. About damn time!

I think you'll be fine, well obviously he's gotta take it easy on you lol and yeah, use double protection. You can let your ob know about it too at your 6 wk check up. Most Dr will say it depends on you, how you're feeling/healing as to how long you should wait. The delivery method and associated complications could call for a longer rest period but you sound rested to me! :) Congrats on your son.

I hate to say it but be sure to check with the doctor. My husband and I were told that under no circumstances were we to have sex for six weeks with my c section.

Im sorry your still bleeding. Sound like its just about done though. Way to wait so long, I couldnt haha.. I say go for it since its clear!

I had sex when my bleeding eased off. I bed off and on for like 3 months more on than off but we had sex 2 weeks after my csection. Just male sure u use protection unless u don't mind having babies so close...haha

Well i delivered through a c section too. Even if youre spotting are you still safe for sex or does the waiting still apply?

I honestly don't know. I think with my first I went 3 weeks and then spotted for about 2. I had a c-section so I'm not sure what's normal for a vaginal birth.
