Long Ride. :/

How far away is the hospital from your house? The 1 I'm going to is a little over 30 minutes away. -_- I really hate that, because I know I'm going to be in so much pain. It'll probably be longer w/ traffic lights & all, ugh. 30 minutes isn't very long when you're not in pain, but that won't be the case. There's a hospital that's right down the street, but their reputation isn't so good. Why must the ambulance be so expensive? Their job is to care for the hurt/sick.

Yeah the hospital I'm delivering at is about 40 minutes away. I delivered my daughter at this hospital also and the drive wasn't so bad. I wasn't focused on the drive I guess. Theres a hospital in town but they don't deliver babies....they're also terrible for anything else.

Maybe 5-10 mins depending on traffic. Its right down the raod from my house. I live on a military base and go to the hospital on post. If I were to go off post it would take about an hr.

@GeekMom1213 I see. Well, you'll definitely be comfortable, which is always wanted! I can't imagine no meds, though. My hat's off to every woman who's done it au natural. @sommerrrr I seriously thought I was the only person w/ this problem! They don't have l&d? How weird.
