How long do I wait?

I went off of the Depo shot last month, and have not replaced it with any form of BCP. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend (steady long term relationship). I am curious how long to wait to take an at home pregnancy test. My periods are never regular, and now that I have gone off the depo, there is no way of telling when my period would be. I did not have one last month (June). Any suggestions?

I was on depo for 2 and a half years and came off it last August, had my period back in Nov 07 and they regulated Feb 08.  It has now been almost a year and i still haven't conceived.  I was never told that no matter how long you are on depo one month or 5 years it could take anything up to 2 years just for the injection to leave your system let alone conceive.  At this moment in time i am ready for giving up but it kills me everytime i see a pram being pushed in the town centre and it isn't me on the other end.

My point is yes some people conceive quickly after any contraception but depo is by far one of the worst and i would never recommend it to anyone again.  i hope you don't have to wait as long as me and other people on this site i hope you do get a BFP.

Well I was on Depo for 4 years and I got preggers 2 months after I got off it with my duaghter who now 5 years old! :) I know everyone is different though so I'm not sure how your body will react to not having a BC. Good luck though!! :)
