Does this sound promising?

Hey Ladies
Well I got a BFP last saturday, labs drawn monday with an hcg of 170, labs drawn wednesday with an hcg of 615. U/S scheduled Aug. 15th.  This is our 2nd pregnancy and are so afriad we will miscarry like we did last month. Do my numbers sound ok, good, or really good??? Is it normal not to have anymore HCG's drawn and just wait for the u/s?
Let me know what you think please! :)

Amanda

I wouldnt stress about the numbers unless they go down, alot of times they check them a couple times, wait do a u/s and then do more b/w and then wait again, sometimes they need a few days to see if anything is progressing...they freak you out about all sorts of stuff

Ya i thought you had to have a higher hcg before they did an u/s but they must figure if i went up that much in 48hrs that i will be definately high enough in two weeks from now...right?
thanks for the reassurance

Your numbers sound like you are where you need to be. Dont stress, stress is no good. I only had my beta testing done twice too and then a follow up ultrasound so it sounds like they are doing what they need to do for you. I had a miscarriage in January and I am now 12 weeks with this pregnancy and everything has been great. They say women who miscarry have a better chance of carrying full term the next time around.
May you have a happy healthy 9 months!

Sounds good to me.  Just keep in mind that I have heard that your HCG levels have to be at LEAST 1200 or more to see anything on an u/s.
