Low Iron
So my iron levels were low 2 weeks ago when I went to the doctor. Suprising everything else was ok even though I hadnt ate in two days only water and my prenatals. The first two days I took my iron pills and had forgot til now. How will that affect my baby if I just start back taking them now?
It won't have any negative effects whatsoever. Just make sure you keep taking them. Low iron, among the other effects that it can have, will make you more tired than you already are. Low iron will also cause you to bleed worse if you tear during labor. Take them pills momma! I used to forget and skip for a few days. It happens! Did they give you colace to take with them for constipation?
