Early Announcement & Tem

My husband and i found out we are pregnant last week. We are extremely excited and plan to make a trip home to tell our family in person. We are approximately 5 weeks and 5 days. This is will be the first child and pregnancy for both of us. Is it too soon to announce to our family? I've heard we should wait until after 8 weels but we are bursting at the seams to tell our families! Also i am experiencing

Hey ladies. Hubby and I just found out we pregnant. We about 5-6 weeks. Super excited! Did three tests to be sure. I am experiencing some tightness around my tummy and back. Is this normal?

After dealing with fertility issues when we finally did become pregnant we told only close family around 6 weeks. Our thinking was if something did happen we would want those people to know and support us. I will be 13 weeks tomorrow and once they knew...the support from them made the green sick days a little easier. Congrats!

I would suck down cherry Icees and took cooler baths, which also will help alleviate back pain later on! For whatever reason tighter clothes made me feel cooler. I havent left tank tops and bicycle pants all pregnancy lol but I lucked out with a winter pregnancy!

Oh yeah if doc has seen a sac developing and has not voiced concerns, id go for it. Its just a matter of opinion. I stuck with telling the ones I wanted there to help me if I miscarried until 10wks when chance for mc went down to 5% :) congratulations!!

My husband and I told our families the day we found out which was 5 weeks and 2 days. All we had was a pregnancy test to go off of.  I am currently 31 weeks and baby is fine. Just tell them when ya wanna! :) there's no right or wrong to it!

We had our first sonogram last week but all they could see was the sacks beginning to form. Does this confirm its a viable pregnancy? Or once we have our 8 week sonogram & confirm he/she is developing normally?

And yes your body temperature will rise and until you get used to it, it can feel like a hot flash. It took about 4wks for me to get over it

I would at least wait until the doctor even confirms if its a viable pregnancy or not. After that go for it whenever.

Also experiencing symptoms similar to what i assume hot flashes would be like, especially at bed time. I've always been hot natured but now it's absolutely miserable. I turn the air down to 55 degrees but still wake up soaking in sweat. Is this normal? Is everything okay with my munchkin & i?
