Low amniotic fluid ?

Do any of you ladies have low amniotic fluid ?
My doctor said normal is 15 dangerous low is a 5 and I am at a 9. She didn't seem worried but is having me meet with a high risk specialist this Friday. I am only 30 weeks so I'm pretty scared right now.
Have any of you ladies delivered that early?

AFI of 9cm is within the normal range but at the lower end of normal. Measuring AFI is a bit subjective meaning you can get 9cm and remeasure moments later and get something like 7cm or even 11cm, for example. Out of precaution, in my opinion, it warrants increased surveillance. Again, just my opinion.

That's what I was thinking and my doctor wanted me too come back in 4 weeks till I threw a fit about it. I'm not sure if I should switch doctors or what to do anymore.

With an AFI of 9cm, I think you should have once weekly or twice weekly antenatal testing with a BPP at least once per week. Speak with your Doc and perinatologist.
