I figured it'd be okay every now and again. I just thought I'd get a few opinions! My doctor said almost anything in moderation is okay. (As long as it's not obvious I shouldn't be doing it).
Yes listeria is super rare, you just don't want to eat any that has been sitting out. They get a little crazy w all that you should and should not do. I ate tuna, some sushi, my first was fine. I even gasp drink a glass of wine now and then! Lol. Use your judgment and you will be fine. I'm 36 weeks, baby is/looks fine according to doc.
Just fully cooked pre packed turkey and ham. They say not too eat it due to listeria. But I've heard from some that it use to never be a concern until recently. And haven't really heard of any women actually having problems from it.
I eat lunch meat a lot and both the baby and i are healthy!! The further you get along id say warm it up so it steams. Than its for sure safe. That's what my ob/gyn said! Good luck!!!
