MEMBRANE STRIPPING

How effective was this for the ones who have had this done to induce labor? Did you start labor right away or did it have to be done a couple times? Also did it hurt at all??

Best friend had hers stripped
Did nothing for her except cause pain

I had membranes stripped it didn't really hurt it was just uncomfortable. I had my membranes stripped in the morning and the next evening was in the hospital with my baby.

No it does not hurt. (Or its just me) but it doesn't intentionally start labor but it supposes to help induce your labor, but when he/she is ready to come they will..
