Oh I tried the benadryl with this lotion a nurse told me to try called Sarna. Its helped so much and the redness is slowly going away. I was so happy! I'm being positive and hoping for the best out of these two products! :D thank you very much!
I went to dr because i was itchy all over my body and they told me i needed to get blood work done. So they can out rule Choletasis( something wrong with your liver) and told me to take Benadryl the 25mg was fine...could take the whole pill or half but its okay and safe to take....hope u feel better
I just wasn't sure what type of benadryl I should take because there are so many different types. I have a pretty bad rash. It really does look like chicken pox! Its all over my legs, arms, getting on my hands, a little on my back and that's all. I've been so self conscious to wear dresses or anything because I have so many red bumps everywhere. Its made me cry so much seeing myself like that! But I will definetly ask my doctor about the zyrtec!
As long as your dr gave the go ahead then I say take the Benadryl. I broke out in full body hives around 24 weeks and took Benadryl (just a half dose so I didn't get as much of that sleepy effect) and my dr told me Zyrtec was fine to take too since its a full 24 hours of relief. I'd say call ur dr and ask about the Zyrtec or even Claritin and if they give the go ahead, take that for during the day and the Benadryl to help sleep at night until it subsides. I had hives for 2 weeks and it can clear up sooner or later depending on the irritant. And loose clothing like nightgowns will help too, any clothing that raises temp will activate the rash.
She told me to try those but I felt iffy about benadryl since it makes me so sleepy and everything I just don't want it to hurt the baby!
Have you tried hydro cortisone cream and Benadryl? Call your doc and see if it's okay for you to try those, it should be but just make sure
I had one because of the heat, i just had to put mosturiser on it. Just leave it in the fridge so its nice and cold x
