can anyone help me my hcg levels have been rising slowly hospital thought it was eptopic so scanned me but could not find any thing so told me i had misscarried that was a week ago went bk today and they took my hcg levels they had gone up fron 325 to 694 in a week im very confused has this happend to any one else

How far along are you, do you know? I am going through a big thing right now myself. I found out I was pregnant 3 weeks ago, went in for ultrasound told me they couldn't see anything, went in the following week couldn't see anything but thick uterine lining, gave me a blood test my levels were at 409, next week another blood test at 501, the next Monday had very bad cramping at 3 am went into ER told me I had a miscarriage my levels were 654 and that night I passed something that was 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. Yesterday went in for a follow up with my OBGYN she took the specimen to get checked in the lab to see if it was pregnancy tissue got blood work and my levels rose up to 848. Now she thinks I may be having a ectopic but said you never know.

just had a scan today and they found a sac have to get another one in 2 weeks

Your levels will continue to rise just not to what they are supposed to if it is a missed miscarriage because the body still thinks its a viable pregnancy.

i got told that my levels would not rise if there was no baby

Some pregnancies are slow starters other just dont make it, its called a missed m/c.  Your body still thinks its pregnant and your levels will keep rising and you have symptoms however the baby wont develop.  Either way, the scan will tell you what you need to know, good luck to you.

they have now gone up to 1254 and i have a scan booked on tuesday
