Maybe I am? Just to be on the safe side...

This was asked about a week ago:
My last encounter was in November. In december I took a HPT and it was negative. No period. In January I take a blood test. Negative. No period. I was given some medication to make me come on my period but didn't take them appropriately and I didn't come on. In March I went and saw the gynecologist and he performed a vaginal ultrasound and put the apparatus atop my stomach and saw nothing and gave me Duphaston. My period came...it's still coming three weeks later. I had taken another HPT that showed negative.
I went and saw another gynecologist a week and a half ago and she too did the vaginal ultrasound and saw nothing.
Something's kicking in my stomach. It's distended as if I'm pregnant and hard. Whenever I lay on it I can feel that something's there. Could a vaginal ultrasound miss a baby at this point? It's been five months now....
I was given many answers most if not all saying I was not pregnant but, the gynecologist only put the apparatus in my lower stomach, I was telling her where it pained and where it was bloated (upper abdominal) and she told me that it was fat and that babies don't travel in the upper abdomen. She is a doctor and has experience so I was to put my trust in her but could the baby actually be in my upper abdomen? Below the belly button there is no problem at all , the pain in on my upper right side.
Can anyone bring anymore information, please?
Thank you ahead of time.

I have to agree. Unless you were further along (babies don't raise above the belly button until the 6th month at least) and then the ultrasound would NOT miss a baby that is that big. I think that you are probably having some intestional problems instead. There are many different reasons that you could miss your period. You are really grasping at straws at this point. I think maybe you should see an internal medicine doctor and maybe they could give you a better indication of what is going on with you. Best of luck hun =)

sounds like you should have your gallbladder checked.  It can cause twinges and alot of pain.  Pay attention when you eat greasy food and see if the twinges/pain comes more frequently or more painfully.  That is a big sign of gallbladder issues.  Good luck

Thank you all.
What a relief. My mid upper abdomen is painfully distended and there is something there. Something hard. I'll set up an appointment with a gastroenterologist and keep you all posted.
Again thank you very much!

Sorry...definitely NOT a baby.  Maybe you should see a doctor other than your Gyno like a Gastroenterologist?  Just a suggestion.

There is no way that a baby could be in your upper abdomen! Its just not possible. The baby grows in the uterus, and from the uterus, there is no way for a baby to travel from there to your abdomen!!!
