Micro Preemie

I have a 25 weeker and is pregnant again, 13 weeks my doctor hasnt really did anything different. They just checked my cervix on friday Shouldnt this pregnancy be watched more carefully or special precautions taken? If it matters I went into preterm labor due to contractions and leaking fluid. After being at the hospital 10 hours I had dilated all the way and placenta abrupted.

i'm surprised they don't have you on progesterone shots, and monitoring you more closely...i had my daughter around the same time as you and with my son i had shots every week, and cervial measurements every 2 weeks from 14 weeks till i went into preterm labor with him and then it was bed rest and contraction monitoring too. good luck and hope thingsare great this pregnancy for you

Progesterone shots would ease my mind btw. Pretty much any precautions would.

I had my son at 36+4 and they told me I would have to have progesterone shots during any future pregnancies because he was too early... I know that's like 10 weeks more than you had but you would think if they want to give them to me for  36 they would definitely give them to you. Who knows every dr handles things differently.
