Can you use microwaves while pregnant ? I have been using them but I got told its bad

Its the radiation that can harm the baby. You can turn it on and leave it then you have to wait till it beeps to go back to the microwave.

Microwaves send waves of rf (radiation frequency) and unless your house is huge its still going to hit you. But it no more harmful than being on your smart phone or computer which also send out rf . My boyfriend works on towers and with rf all day and microwaves but not the kind you cook with. The kind that will cook you if you get anywhere near it. So really its inevitable almost everything in this country is built to harm you. From the food you eat to your toys.

Just don't microwave certain items like plastic, styrafoam plates, rubber. Use glass dishes when heating up your food. I've been using ours so I hope everything is ok. And yeah I wouldn't stand right near it either.

I mean you can use it but I just wouldn't stand near it the whole time your food is heating up. I heard it's radiation which is not good obviously.  But you never know.. still ask your doctor.

I though the same that a microwaves a microwave but one of my friends saw me cooking noodles and standing next to the microwave and she freaked out and told me how bad it is :/ but there hasn't been anything wrong with my little man so far and I have been using the microwave the whole Time

Omg, seriously? It's a microwave! Your not in the microwave itself, cooking yourself right? There's nothing to worry about!

I hope so.. We just remodled our kitchen and had nothing but a microwave to cook with for almost two months!
