Mild Cramping

This is my first pregnancy and I am almost 5 weeks.
I've been experiencing what seems to be mild period-like cramps and am also very gassy. At first I thought the gas is what was causing the discomfort, but relieving the gas does not always make it go away.
Thankfully, there is no signs of spotting or any blood, but this is all new to me and I just want to hear that this is normal!

When I was first pregnant I had it too. Nothing to worry about, but if they get really bad then you should call your ob/gyn or just go to the hospital
