IThanks everyone for your inputs. Its the Nai Cha that I am looking to substitute my morning coffee with.
Are you talking about black tea with milk like the British style, or Asian style (which I sooo could go for right now!)? It depends on the kind of tea. Check out what kind is, if you can find out. If it's black it's fine. I'm guessing green milk tea isn't what it is, but apparently drinking green may interfere with folic acid uptake. I'd stay away from any other herbal teas though, there's a lot of weirdness out there.
Good question!
it is recommended no more than 6 cups per day, just because of the caffeine
It's my understanding that milk tea is just tea with milk in it. It's just made with different things depending on where you live. Tea in itself isn't terrible, but while pregnant has to be drank in moderation. If you have any doubts, speak to your doctor about it.
