thanks guys sorry i didnt respond forever ive been very busy at work. and yeah i did try the tylenol and ive tried midol but still not much relief it *****! and it just started last months period and this one...i ended up having af 2 days late for only two days....usually my af lasts 4 days so i thought that was kinda funky but it was a normal heavy period and was super light the 3rd day then gone completley by the 3rd day afternoon. i was in the e.r. after that because i had a problem with the port i have in my chest (long story) and they did blood tests and a urin sample and checked for blood clots in my arm and so i would assume that they checked for pregnancy somewhere on their list. But, im a little weirded out because i have been extremely gassy for the past 3 days like sorry tmi but i literally fart like every 10 minutes lol! other than that my back hurts more than normal and im tired. but i have been working a lot so that doesnt really prove anything. also one minute im hungry and then im not and something will sound good then ill take a bite and want to puke and sometimes i get so tired that i have to lay down and close my eyes or i will vomit. since three days ago. the weird thing is i wasnt even thinking about pregnancy because i got a heavy two day period but now i just feel odd, i cant explain it...its just weird. but im pretty sure they would see it at the hospital cuz theyre supposed to automatically check for that right? i dont think id be bummed if i was preggo this time because i just got a new high paying job that i could still work at pregnant and i got a new 2 bedroom condo with the cutest little nursery size bedroom. *sighs* here i go again with the crazy baby jitters.
I get some of the worst pre-menstral migraines on the planet. They are killer and I am dreading going back to that after I have my baby!
My doc used to give me prescription Ibuprofen but I know you said you are allergic to that. Your doc may be able to give you something else. smjmekg is right. Midol helps but I can't remember what the active ingredient is in that, so I would check just incase it's ibuprofen. I DO know that it has caffeine in it so I wouldn't take it at night. Might keep you up. If nothing else, I would suggest extra strength Tylenol, which is also safe if you did happen to be pregnant. Tylenol products are safe throughout pregnancy.
FYI....Headaches can also happen when you are pregnant as well; especially in the first trimester.
If you try tylenol, you can take up to three at one time, they're 200 mg each, it would be the same as the doctor prescribing 800 mg. Just don't take more than the recommended 24 hours dose.
Have you tried Tylenol? Maybe Midol, I don't know if it has ibuprofen but it could be worth a shot, but it is more expensive. You could try the store brand.
