I was actually trying to see if you ladies had a c section do to smoking lol bcuss I do not want one at alll! Thats scares the **** out of me! But yes I stopped smoking since 6 weeks. I did it again just one time last week (14weeks) but not with ciggerattes. Hate ciggarettes. But I am never gonna light nothing up aqain till my baby is born! I just hope my babys placenta moves up & everything turns fine & nobody should judge. Its a persons choice if they want to smoke or not. It is wrong but its also their choice. Just like we have our own choices as well..
I do not smoke while pregnant, but that's each woman's choice. We aren't all perfect. Technically we shouldn't drink caffeine either because that can harm the baby aswell, but I'm sure there are plenty of mothers on here who enjoy a cup of coffee every once in awhile. There's a lot to consider and to give up once you become pregnant. I believe that as long as you go over your choices with your doctor then you should strictly listen to what they advise.
lol kateferrera u cant compare formula &breast feeding to smoking. & it doesnt make u any less of a mother or person but smoking while u are pregnant shows that u have selfish characteristics.
Babies might be born healthy, but its about how it affects your child long term. Come on ladies. Do your research on the subject. Don't go off of other ppls experiences. Don't you read what's on the packs of cigarettes? I guess the Sergon general doesn't know **** then huh? Not trying to be rude. Just being real...
My mom smoked with all 3kids, my 2 best friends smoked and all of these babies have been fine!!! I'm 29 weeks and my son is fine, not all of these smoking while pregnant myths are true! Honestly, crackheads have healthy babies, so can smokers! I'm tired of the judgement over that. It's a smokers choice to smoke while pregnant just how it's a non smokers choice.. It doesn't make me any less of a person or mother.. Just how some pregnant woman choice to formula feed instead of breast, doesn't make them less of a person or mother. I'm not trying to be rude, I'm trying to be real.
I was referring to smoking cigarettes **
Smoking can cause low birth weight as well as other complications. However, my best friend has smoked through both of her pregnancies and both babies came out nice and healthy.:) her doctor actually advised her to not quit smoking completely because she was such a heavy smoker it might stress the baby or something. As long as your doctor is aware that you smoke, you should listen to your doctor's concerns.
I mean my aunt smoked weed with my baby cousin nd everything was fine he is so chunky and has a great personality lol. He is 7 months
I thought smoking just caused low birth weight...
You ladies should stop smoking and think of your child... and the well being of your baby. . There's no telling what birth defects it might cause
smoking one time wont cause that...
No i dont smoke mo more but I only smoked one time like a week ago & I barely got told today that my placenta was low & I was thinking it was probably cuss I smoked that one day /:
My mom smoked with me and her other 2 pregnancies (my brothers) and she never had that issue. We just have dislexia and read really crappy lol. But, she had normal healthy pregnancies all of us were 7 or more pounds!
I don't have that! I found out I was pregnant sept 4th and then got my ultrasound done and found out I was 24-27 weeks!!! I'm due dec 17th! But I've smoked so much before I knew, like a pack or so a day!!! and my little guy is fine and nothing is wrong with my placenta. Everything is actually normal... Are you asking cause you smoke too?
Thats good (: congrats! But I asked that because I read that smoking can cause placenta previa.. That means where your placenta is low
I smoke cigarettes and my little man is healthy.. I'm 29 weeks tomorrow. But I'm not sure about the other question? That shouldn't relate to the smoking...
