unlaced is very correct. The CM will resemble egg whites and be crystal clear. The LAST day of EWCM is the day you actually ovulate. You can have different types of CM leading up to your actual ovulation, so that may be why you're not getting positive OPKs. However, keep in mind that OPKs don't always work with everyone (I can't remember why).
Why CM (sometimes considered "cloudy") is not an indicator of ovulation.
I will check it up! I don't think I ever got clear CM on any of the days!! I used to never have sore breasts before my period, but after my miscarriage, I have started having sore breasts right before my period. But, this time, they are huting a bit more than normal. I have been trying to get pregnant fot 8 months now!! Keeping my fingers crossed!!
just as egg white is clear, your fertile cm will be clear. i've also heard that "watery" can sometimes be fertile as well. here's a page with lots of info.

Hi jh. What cd are you on? Wore chest is usually a preg. symptom. If you want you can go up to the search box in the top right corner and put in CM or cervical mucus then click go, it will bring up some old posts about cm. Maybe that will help give you some answers
Since last night by breasts have started hurting!!
I have had times when it is transparant, but this month, it was only whitish and I don't remember it ever getting to the transparent phase! Please educate me!!
i'd like to know that too ? -> ewcm? Mine was stretchy/stringy but whitish
When you say EWCM, is it usually transparent or whitish?
In my experience, CM has always been more reliable. OPKs measure the amount of luteinizing hormone (LH) in your body (it will spike right before ovulation). But OPKs don't always work for everyone.
The last day of EWCM (egg white cervical mucous) is the day you ovulate. Since you won't know it's the last day until it has passed, just have sex whenever you see EWCM!
