bright red blood

I will be 39 weeks on Monday. My husband and I had sex and after he noticed blood. When I went to the bathroom I see bright red blood. Could it be because my cervix is sensitive for being so close to birth or should I be worried????

It seems like the blood is lightening up, but I am still having lower back pain that comes and goes and same with stomach cramps.. do these just sound like Braxton hicks or possibly labor??

Id say go in. Better safe than sorry, its late but just go. Everytime I go I end up feeling fine when im getting hooked up and all. Maybe thatll happen to you too.

They said if it's a little bit of blood not to worry but if it's pouring out of you then to go to the hospital!

I had that happen to me last week. After sex. I had bright red blood. I went to the hospital and they said that the sex caused my cervix to bleed and that it would stop on it's own within 24 hrs. And it did. They also said not to have sex for the rest of my pregnancy but I still do. I just take it extremely easy and slow. And so far so good =)
