I just looked back into all my previous posts and I was still sleeping on my stomach at 29 1/2 weeks!! Haha!
I've known women who slept on their bellies until it was literally impossible. Like sleeping on a watermelon. It will not hurt baby at all.
I slept on my belly almost until the end of my pregnancy nothing else was comfortable. When I asked the doctor about it at like 20 something weeks he told me that it wasn't really that you shouldn't sleep on your stomach but that you physically can't. Well I physically could... kinda. If I leaned against my ex. Like Linzola said its so protected in there that the chances of something going wrong are extremely slim.
thank you gals at least i will feel a lil better aboutit knowin that im not hurting it .. and i will try the pillow things i know once i get bigger i wont be able to sleep on the belly no more=( again thank you
When I was pregnant the doctor told me as long as it does not hurt me then it wont hurt the baby because the baby is so protected by the amnoitic fliud and what not. I really would not worry about it! as toes33170 said someone said the slept on the side/stoomach at 27 weeks using a body pillow! I did that throughout my entire pregnancy!
I asked my doctor the same question. I am also 13 weeks along. He told me I could sleep on my stomach until I started to get a big belly. There was a lady on a previous post who wrote that she is 27 weeks and sleeps on her stomach...sort of. It sounded like a good idea. She sleeps half on her side and half on her stomach using a big body pillow. Hopefully it's not too bad for now. I have to drag it out as long as I can! Ugh!
all my other ones i could sleep on my side but this time around i dont know why it bothers me to . so it is not good .. wow then guess ill be in for some sleepless night than .
