If losing my breath causing a panic attack happened when I lay on my back then I understand I would try my best to avoid doing it however if you feel fine I wouldn't worry about it

What i do is use my husband. Lol
I sleep on my right side and we sleep back to back and then i put a big pillow infront on me or under by belly to stop me from moving to my back. If you dont have a husband to help you then use a big pillow. It took me a while to get used to it, specially since I always loved sleeping on my back.

I would rather be safe then have something happen to my baby! I lose my breath when I lay on my back too.

I'd rather be safe than sorry, when I lay on my back I lose my breathe after a while and I'll start to have a panic attack cause I can't breathe.

I've never understood why people think this is a real issue I am 32 weeks and have lay on my back during the night and through my whole pregnancy. My baby's perfectly fine! I also have a lot of friends who lay on their backs throughout their pregnancies and nothing happened to their babies

Try buying a maternity pillow. The really big one where you lay in the middle and it has sides for your back and belly.
