traveling

My husband and I are moving across country the beginning of September.  We can't tow his car with my SUV nor ship his car. So we are taking his car to his parents in Louisiana,  meaning that we will drive separate vehicles to Louisiana from where we live which is 16 hours. Then his parents will tow his car to Washington state while we drive my SUV.   we discussed stopping at every state welcome center, packing a cooler of drinks and snacks for me, along with stopping for gas and foo, and hotel when I get too tired. Do you have any suggestions to make this separate car trip to Louisiana a little easier?  By the time we leave Virginia,  I'll be beginning my second trimester.

Just take it easy and use the rest stops to stretch. I am sure everything will be ok.
