I do have newborn clothes already but I don't want to get TOO 'much , you know ? So I was thinking just getting newborn outfits & of course a couple 0-3. & then 0-3 months for the rest of the clothes like pjs , pants , onesies .
You should at least have one so when gets out of the hospital and take pictures and stuff so he or she looks cute
Most babies grow so fast they don't stay in them long so I wouldn't get too much newborn stuff.
My daughter was a premie so she was in newborn clothes for about 3 months and then she was in 0-3 months til she was about 6 months but after that she had a major growth spurt and she was right on track!
My son was born 7lbs 20oz but failed to put on weight due to feeding issues and being prem so he was in newborn for nearly 6wks and wasn't in 0-3mths for long at all once he caught up.
My son could not wear newborn onesies at all and only wore newborn pants for a few weeks.
My daughter was 6 pounds, 13 oz at birth. She wore new born clothes for a month. I hate clothes being tight on her, so i always put bigger clothes on her anyways. I would just stick to 0-3 months to be honest.
It depends on your baby's weight. Newborn only up to 10 lbs. My daughter fit in her clothes for less than a mth/ she weight 7 lbs, 6oz when born..right now my son is a premiee so it will fit him a while. For my daughter i only got few newborn outfits n pjs(7), better get 0-3mths
My son was in newborn for atleast a month. He was 7 lbs at birth. It really depends on the baby.
Specialmom is correct within a month they prolly won't fit newborn!
You'll be amazed how quickly babies grow. You don't need too many of that super small size. My babies both were out of that size within a month. But that does always depend on your baby and how he or she grows. I love those tiny clothes!~! So cute. You'll probably be doing lots of laundry, a load a day I'm guessing. I did! But somehow it is more fun for my babies than my husband. :>)
I think it depends on your baby. My daughter didn't fit into 0-3 months until she was like 4 months.
