NEED GOOD ADVICE!!
Hey ladies I'm 39 weeks nd 4days my due date is on Friday bt I'm having him natural, so my doctor checked me today nd I only.have dilated a cm so he told me if I dony have him this week r by the weekend they will induce me on Wednesday night nd will have baby on Thursday,, wanted to know if you ladies have any advice of things I can do besides walk to dilate more.. I'm a first time mom???? Please Help
Unfortunately, those of us women that do offer our advice have received so much backlash for suggesting things that has been proven to help soften your cervix.

There are pressure points there that connect to the uterus. You can also try massaging behind the ankle bone or in the webs of your toes. My aunt is a massage therapist and she told me that you should never massage those places pregnant unless you're wanting to go into labor.
Honestly the baby will come when it's ready. A lot of first time moms go over their due dates so don't stress too much if you do. Exercise, sex, red raspberry leaf tea, nipple stimulation, and massaging the webs between your index finger and thumb could stimulate contractions and or dilation.
Your okay nd yes he said he never makes his girls go over 41 weeks bt I'm so miserable .. my due dat is on march 14 bt I have only dilated to a c.m. my son is a big baby he is almost 9 pounds so since I'm having him natural he is wait to see if he will come this week r weekend if nt he will induce me Wednesday night which I will be 40weeks nd 3days so I'm crossing my fingers he will come on lol
Does your doctor routinely induce before 42 weeks? My midwife gives you a choice. You can choose elective induction anytime after 39 weeks but she doesn't insist on it until you're two weeks over.
