If you go to Harris er, no they can't deny you.. But if you try to make an appt at a Harris clinic, they will require a payment up front.
Go to Matlock OBGYN its inside MCA on matlock in Arlington. They saw me my last pregnancy without insurance. You just got to have it for a sonogram or pay the $100 for it. Just bring in the information once you get it.
but Harris should see me either way because I'm so far a long and they can't deny me service right?
In Georgia when you apply for pregnant women medicaid they have 10 days to approve you. Pregnant women don't have to wait as long as a regular medicaid application.
Maybe if you are concerned about anything, you could go to the hospital and let them at least check you out.
Have you even a sonogram or anything?
Since Harris is a privately held hospital, they will want a payment upon being seen.
Check with your local health department or planned parent hood .. You need to be seen ..ASAP
What about the person who is the father.? They need to pay as well
does it matter if I go to the clinic at Harris hospital
Let medicaid back track n pay for it or look for a pregnancy and resource center/ health department til u get your Medicaid conformation letter
I know that since the jps network is a county thing, I'm pretty sure they can't deny you services.
I would call them tomorrow and ask them about it, I think you would be able to take any letters or paperwork you have from the Medicaid office with you for proof.
so how would I show proof that I applied online ?
so when I go to the appointment what do I tell them?
Yes!! I'm from Fort Worth as well. was told that the jps women's clinic will see you, all you have to is show proof you have applied for Medicaid. I know there is a northwest clinic in the Northside of Fort Worth, almost right off of jacksboro hwy.
Once your approved medicaid should back date three months to cover expensive. You should go have an appt regardless! If you haven't already make sure your taking prenatal best of luck to you
I agree with nov1stmommy... my medicaid went back and covered my first two appointments from my first pregnancy.. especially if the application is dated for before the first appointment.. you could always search for free clinics in your area
If your sure Medicaid will accept you this time then set up a doctor's appointment right away Medicaid will go back 90days and cover the appointment
