Nail polish!?

I was painting my nails and watching vampire diaries and I freaked out when I thought about how much I could smell the fumes an I'm just curious if it could hurt my baby or cause any birth defects?? Hoping someone has asked their doctor about this!!

I know but I'd rather buy my 2 yearold boy a toy or something to see him smile rather than me! I always put him first! And after him it's my husband! Just a habit of mine

Thanks all! I think I'm just gonna go get a pedi next time instead of breathing in so much doing it! My husband asked if I wanted one the other day! I'm just not very selfish and I hate doing anything like that for myself

It's safe to paint your nails.  But if you feel it may be too strong. You can use a mask or paint them in a well ventilated area.

I paint my nails all the time. I keep my door open and the fan on. My Dr said it's perfectly fine to get them done.  I change my polish at least once a week.

The fumes can hurt  just cover your nose when i go to the nail place they give me a mask

Is it bad I think the nail polish smells kinda good? Lol when I do them I just do it in a more open room for air to circulate.

I worry about the same thing so ive only done my nails a few times im 8 months tomorrow just like dyeing your hair im.sure its safe just try to limit yourself and do it only a couple times. I have my cousin paint my nails so im not directly inhaleing the fumes
